successful supplement

The reason I have joined this site is to share the success my wife has found with a supplement our daughter sent her and recommended from her nutritional research. My wife is 64 and has suffered from pudendal nerve entrapment for years. Over those long years, most days were punctuated with her cries of pain at various times of day and evening. It took years with various doctors and practitioners before she found out what she had, and then more years of unsuccessful efforts at treatment. My daughter recommended a supplement formula called Myelin Sheath Support put out by Planetary Formulas, an herbal supplement formulated by Michael Tierra, L.Ac.,O.M.D., according to the label. For the first time in years, my wife is getting relief from the pain. It was $29.98 for a bottle of 90 tablets and suggested use is 2 or 3 tablets 2 or 3 times daily between meals. The label describes the vitamins D-3 and B-12 and a list of minerals and a blend of a long list of herbs. The label also recommends avoiding hydrogenated fats but instead eating foods rich in essential fatty acids. I am sure it must be sold on the internet, and I have seen the Planetary brand in health food stores. Give it a try, and good luck.

Alan, thanks a bunch for that info -- the price sounds very reasonable compared to some things I've spent money on. :D

About how long did your wife take this before noticing some improvement? Give her my best wishes for continued improvement.

supplements

Violet,

There is one other supplement my wife has found helpful. It is named ZYFLAMEND and is herbal. The company is New Chapter. It's for inflammation. I don't recall the company for Mylein Sheath Support, but that herbal supplement is for restoring the protective sheath surrounding the nerve. The Oasis Regenicare repairs and sooths.

The relief from her supplements came fast, in a matter of hours, but after being without pain for weeks, she tended to forget to take anything, and pain started to creep back into her crotch. The supplements brought relief, and the pain is gone again.

My wife is 63 years old, and while the young may get by without supplements and even thrive on a poor diet, age will take its toll. In addition, we need more nutrition as we get over forty, as cellular reproduction slows in comparison with cellular degeneration, and modern foods are lacking because of weakened soil and overprocessing. My wife has taken a dealership for OasisLifeSciences and its products because she knows she is going to continue to need supernutrition to avoid the ills that modern medicine incorrectly claims are inevitable with age.

Alan, I've taken a number of supplements but nothing ever gave me noticeable relief -- especially not within hours. I agree that good nutrition is really important for healing -- but I think improvements you gain from good nutrition will be subtle over time.

Violet,

In my experience, you are correct that natural remedies do not resolve symptoms as quickly as drugs because a natural approach aims at the cause. However, I am telling you what my wife tells me, which is shown also in her behavior. She was crying from pain almost every day and now is not, and the relief from pain was the same day. No surgery or drugs. That is not to say her condition was gone, as the pain comes back somewhat when she does not take anything. Long-term nutrition will hopefully do that or keep it at bay.
