Applying for disability in Canada

Postby PennyLane » Tue Apr 20, 2010 9:10 pm

I read a post a while back about someone in Canada who was approved for disability benefits, but I can't seem to find it now. Are there other Canadians out there who have applied for disability? Any advice you can offer would be appreciated. At this stage, I have not yet been diagnosed (waiting for appointment with neurologist) but both my family doctor and gynecologist believe I have a pudendal nerve issue. I wonder if their notes, along with the long list of medications, physical limitations, and the fact that I had to quit my job due to chronic pain and depression, would be enough evidence of disabilty?

Thanks.
